BP ousts CEO Hayward and taps an American

Robert Dudley is set to replace recently demoted BP CEO Tony Hayward. Hayward stepped down yesterday in the midst of the Gulf oil spill disaster. Robert Dudley will take of the BP daily operations. Dudley is a long time BP employee and has more than 30 years in the oil business. Robert Dudley is a chemical engineer by training and has been in charge of the day to day operations of the Gulf clean up since June.
